Inspired by the vibrant life of Josephine Baker and the dynamic artists featured in Paris in Black\, this engaging experience transforms museum learning into creative play. \nThrough movement\, storytelling\, improvisation\, and collaborative activities\, young participants will explore history in exciting new ways while building confidence\, creativity\, and social skills. \nDuring this fun-filled journey\, children will: \n• Jump into movement-based storytelling adventures\n• Invent unforgettable characters\n• Play high-energy improv games\n• Practice listening\, teamwork\, and creative problem-solving\n• Build confidence in a joyful and supportive environment \n7-Week Program Journey\nWeeks 1–2: Play\, movement\, and ensemble trust-building\nWeeks 3–4: Improvised story creation and imaginative world-building\nWeeks 5–6: Character development and performance exploration\nWeek 7: Final Showcase featuring an ensemble performance inspired by Josephine Baker’s fearless spirit and electrifying energy \nBy the end of the program\, your child will grow from a curious explorer into a confident performer\, ready to shine in a celebratory final showcase. \nLet your little luminary shine at the DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center.
