400 Years: The Musical – Film Screening and Q&A
“The Story of 400 Years” is a 13-movement suite by saxophonist, composer & multi-instrumentalist Isaiah Collier with choreography by Kennedy Banks-Battle and on-stage visual media by Jordan Stewart-Curet.
Originally performed live on The DuSable Museum stage, the production showcases the 400-year lineage of Black American Music and the impact that sound and memory have had on our collective memory within America. Isaiah Collier will join us once again for a film screening of the production, followed by a Q&A session with the artist. This is a FREE event open to the community. Limited seats are available.
