Migration Blues

Throughout the course of The Great Migration, Chicago became home to many great blues musicians who made the trek from rural areas in the South to northern cities in search of a better way of life.

We are excited to welcome Ms. Chandra Cooper, President & Director of The Muddy Waters Mojo Museum, and Mr. Bernard Loyd, Founder & President of Urban Juncture, to discuss the global impact of the legendary people and places that helped to make the city of Chicago synonymous with the universally beloved musical art form we call THE BLUES.
