The Black Imagination Abroad
June 5, 2026 - June 5, 2026; 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Join us at the DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center for the inaugural edition of The Black Imagination Abroad, a new salon series exploring the work, ideas, and global experiences of contemporary artists across the diaspora.
Hosted by Danny Dunson, this engaging series creates space for artists, creatives, and community members to connect through meaningful dialogue, artistic exchange, and cultural exploration. Inspired by the exhibition Paris in Black: Internationalism and the Black Renaissance, the evening will feature artist presentations, moderated conversations, community engagement, networking opportunities, and a reception.
The inaugural featured artist is Austyn Wyche, whose work and creative practice will anchor the evening’s discussion on art, identity, and the Black experience across global contexts.
