The Spirit of Nelson Mandela 2026: Making a Difference for Others “67 Minutes of Service”
Join the Durban Committee of CSCI for a special community-centered event honoring the legacy of Nelson Mandela and the global observance of Nelson Mandela International Day.
Inspired by Mandela’s lifelong commitment to service, the “67 Minutes of Service” initiative encourages individuals to dedicate 67 minutes to helping others in recognition of the approximately 67 years he spent advancing human rights, equality, and social justice.
This educational and interactive event will connect attendees with volunteer opportunities, community organizations, and valuable local resources while highlighting the impact that service can have on individuals and communities. Guests will also enjoy live music, free food, and opportunities to engage with others committed to making a difference.
