Join us for The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center’s annual Juneteenth celebration, our largest community event of the year. This all-day gathering honors freedom, culture, and Black history through programming rooted in celebration, education, and community connection.

This is a FREE event open to the public.

The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center is excited to welcome its newest neighbor, The Obama Presidential Center! For transportation between the two locations, shuttle buses will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Shuttles depart approximately every 30 minutes at 57th and Cottage Grove from The DuSable Museum and at the corner of 60th and Stony Island from the Obama Presidential Center.
